Korpo Local History association was founded in 1960 in order to preserve the local cultural heritage for future generations. Since then the association has collected and catalogued various items, gathered stories, as well as organised and participated in projects concerning the history and culture of Korpo. Today the association consists of local volounteers who dedicate their effort and time to continue this mission.
